What is All Weather Tuft®?
All Weather Tuft® is an additional, rotproof surface cover, for new and already existing riding grounds. All Weather Tuft® is being generated out of a new mat, consisting of polyamide and polyester fiber, which is being blended into the final product. The product then has to be added onto consisting sandy soil, creating a stable and low-maintenance riding ground surface. All Weather Tuft® consists of fine shreds (approximately two times four centimeters) and is environmentally friendly.
How to apply All Weather Tuft®?
All Weather Tuft® has to be added as a top layer onto a sandy subsurface, with at least 15 to 20 centimeters of sand in height. First, level off the riding ground, then add All Weather Tuft® and distribute it evenly. Afterwards, if desired, solidify it with a rotary harrow.
In Germany and Luxemburg, All Weather Tuft® is often being added onto gravel soil without an additional layer of sand. In this case, we advise adding a thicker layer of All Weather Tuft® (approximately 15 to 20 centimeters).
